Sandia!

I got 2 great flights off Sandia Peak yesterday. There were 8 local flyers on the mountain; 4 hangs and 4 paras and between us there was at least one glider above the mountain all day. Cloudbase was low, even below the top at times, which makes for some incredibly scenic flying.

The top picture was taken at the end of the long glide out to the Big Sky Hang Glider Park. I took the second photo looking back over my shoulder at launch as the clouds got lower. The third picture is self explanatory, and the final photo shows the launch ramp and the sweet morning clouds. I took that photo right before my first flight of the day and it shows how perfect the conditions were for a trip to the white room.
