Today the South Side was at it's best. Smooth winds, big wide therms, and just enough traffic to keep you focused.
The Zulu flew beautifully for me today. Great sink rate, high trim speed, and a really sweet, coordinated feel to the controls. I can't wait to thermal soar the Zulu.
Since anyone reading this Blog has already seen too many South Side photos, I'm posting one from Florida this past May. Here's a shot of Mitch McAleer launching his Magic FR into a perfect cumulus filled sky. Very few paraglider pilots know that Florida has the best soaring conditions in the U.S. during April and May.
