Today Alan and Dovie and I drove to Twin Falls to go BASE jumping with Miles Daisher but the weather sucked. It was blowing a hoolie and raining, so we hung out and visited Shoshone Falls and the other local attractions until it became obvious that we weren't gonna get to jump anytime soon. Tantalized by the idea we might be able to fly our paragliders at the North Side this evening we rushed back to Salt Lake City just in time to experience a spectacular thunderstorm right over the Point. 500 miles of driving and NO airtime; now that's a skunking.
