I was on the road by 5:30 am, and a mere 10 hours later I pulled up to the launch at the north side of the Point of the Mountain. I immediately ran into my friend Chris Santacroce and he invited me to stay at his house, which is only 50 yards from launch! I was feeling a little cooped up from the drive, and since the weather wasn't good for flying, I went for a walk to the top of the hill.
