On Bridge Day it's legal to BASE jump from the 876 foot New River Gorge Bridge near Fayetteville, West Virginia. 450 jumpers from all over the world showed up for the 6 hours of legal jumps, a BASE film festival, a trade show, and one hell of a party.
There are two exit points: a platform and a diving board, here a jumper leaves the platform.
A jumper opens up below the bridge.
BASE jumping will be legal when pigs can fly.
