The Debrief

In between jumps yesterday I rode the pickup van out to the student LZ and took post jump pictures of some of my buddies. We have 3 LZs at SDNM; one right by the hangar for experienced jumpers, another at the edge of the airport also for experienced jumpers, and a student LZ that's 3 miles from the airport out in the middle of the stinking desert. The student LZ is also our "Area 51".

Elijah Combest is a second generation jumper that grew up at the Perris DZ. He and his dad Danny are both Instructors and Cameramen at SDNM.

James Englund is a newbie like me, but he's a lot more talented. He's already shooting video and working on his USPA Coach rating.

That's me and Elijah's daughter Hailey. Hailey and her grandpa Danny like to visit our goat ranch from time to time to look at the goats, jump on the trampoline, swing on the swing, and play hide and go seek.
