Today I took the family on a trip to Las Salinas Monument, the site of a 500 year old Spanish Mission. Las Salinas is about 50 miles from our home in the Bosque and only one of many ancient treasures in our area. On the way home the girls talked me into stopping at the local animal shelter, and guess what, we got a new puppy. Now we have 13 animals: 2 cats, 2 dogs, a bird and 8 goats! The top photo shows Chloe with the new addition; I think we are going to name the puppy "Skylar".
