I made jump number 50 last weekend at SkydiveNew Mexico. Paragliding buddy Paul Briggs was on the load with me, strapped to Deadwood for his first tandem . I hung from the wing strut as Paul and Rich got in the door. It was fun to make eye contact with Paul right before I let go and plummeted earthward. Paul also made his first solo sailpalne flights this past weekend! Another brother, Bill Lemon also made his first tandem skydive that day, but I couldn't get packed fast enough to be on his load. There was a bit of carnage at the DZ last weekend. Both crashes were under perfectly good parachutes and resulted in ankle injuries. Sounds more like paragliding than skydiving.
